This summer will be the 2nd season of the Central West Virginia Grand Prix Cup Series of tournaments to be held at various locations throughout the area.

First, a huge THANK YOU to all the participants of this past weekends MSFF Junior Tennis Tournament. The event went very smoothly, everyone had a good time, and we got to see some competitive tennis and great weather on Saturday!

The RCTA and Davis & Elkins College hosted a USTA Quickstart Tennis Workshop, Sunday (3/27), at the Martin Field House on the campus of Davis & Elkins College.  The program was attended by 18 members of the local community and surrounding areas including several RCTA members, coaches, teachers, and general tennis enthusiasts and was a great success.

RCTA member and webmaster, Tim Gibson, attended the USTA's meeting at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown on Monday, March 14th.  Topics discussed included plans for the resurgence of tennis in the Mid-Atlantic Region and especially the state of WV.
